Jurassic Park Tour~

Hi everyone! I’m on a tour of Isla Nublar or known more as JURASSIC PARK! Jurassic Park is AMAZING. I met some people like..
  • Dr Alan Grant (a paleontologist)
  • Dr Ellie Sattler (a paleobotanist)
  • Donald Gennaro (a lawyer of InGen Incorporated)
  • Dennis Nedry (a computer expert)
  • Professor Ian Malcolm (a rock star mathematician)
  • Ed Regis (the publicity manager)
  • John Arnold (the chief engineer)
  • Robert Muldoon (the park warden)
  • Henry Wu (the chief geneticist)
  • Dr Harding (the vet)
Jurassic Park gate :D
Then it’s TOUR TIME! First, Dr Wu showed us the Control Room. The Control Room is where they take care of the park, the electricity, cameras, EVERYTHING! Next we went to the EXTRACTIONS room. (FACT: Did you know, that every single room in Jurassic Park’s Control Building HAS to be opened with a security card? :O) The Extractions Room is probably the weirdest for me because they have some microscopes and shelves full of yellow stones. Want to know what they do in there? They get dinosaur DNA. Sounds wacky, but true. They take some AMBERS, the yellow stones I told you, then take the insect that are stuck in the ambers. Some of the insects that are taken has dinosaur blood in it, that’s how they get the dinosaur DNA. Then there are some machines. They’re called the Cray XMP supercomputers. The computers help to complete the DNA chain, because the DNA from the insect blood isn’t always complete. The geneticists’ job is to find matching DNA for the missing dinosaur DNA from some animals that still EXIST. Then we went to the FERTILIZATION room. In the Fertilization Room, the dinosaurs are put in special shells of eggs and the correct room temperature. Then we go to a really HOT room called the HATCHERY. It’s where the eggs hatch. Then the cutest room of all, the NURSERY :] The nursery is where Tim found a new friend, a velociraptor. CUTE! Now we’re at the Control Room, this is where they keep track of all the animals. They also can detect all the animals’ movement! The computer can also count how many animals died. Right now, there are 238 animals in the park. Now we go around Jurassic Park. There are, oh, so many animals and I just can’t remember all of them right now. I’ll probably get Dr Alan Grant to write it down for me sometime tomorrow *laughs* BYEEE I’m going to continue the tour now :D

Isla Nublar Here I Come!

Hii!
Grandpa's private jet ;]
I’m on one of Grandpa’s private jet and I’m on my way to Costa Rica. From there, I’m going to get on a helicopter and go to Isla Nublar, where Grandpa and the others will be waiting for me. I’m kind of scared of going to Costa Rica though because I heard there are some lizards biting children and babies. (Shut up Tim! He’s calling me names because I’m scared of many things and animals!) Well oh well, I hope everything will be OK. *long pause from typing because Grandpa just called* :]
WOW! I can’t believe what Grandpa just said! Grandpa said the famous Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler is there! *sarcastic* I don’t even know them, and Tim’s making such a fuss about those people! Oh wait, here's a picture of Grandpa's private jet :]
Here we are on Costa Rica. Costa Rica seems like such a nice place! They have a wonderful beach, lots of exotic fruits and some of the BEST clothes shops ever! Well, at least that’s what I read from a magazine. (Tim said I’m so dumb to believe what magazines said -_-)
Be right back, I’m going on a helicopter! So exciting! I’ll be taking pictures now. So... BYEEE :p

XOXO,

The Start of an Epic Journey

Me!
Hi!
I'm Lex Murphy. My grandpa, John Hammond, is the owner of Isla Nublar & Jurassic Park, the holiday resort. :]
I'm turning 9 this year on June 11. I was born in Texas and I grew up in England until I was 7. Then I moved to New York City. Tim Murphy, my brother, is 11 years old. Tomorrow we are going to Jurassic Park! So exciting! Grandpa said that there will be a lot of animals there. I hope there aren't going to be any lions or tigers. I'm scared of them. :[
But well oh well, I have grandpa who can protect me from all those mean animals! ^^

But there’s still something I don’t understand. Mom said Jurassic Park’s going to be a holiday resort. But grandpa said there will be a lot of animals. Is it like a mixture of a holiday resort and a zoo? That will be so epic!

I’m so excited; I’ll bring a CAMERA along so I can take a lot of pictures and show it to mom and dad. Oh, I’ve got to go to sleep now or I won’t be able to wake up early and miss the plane!
