The End of Jurassic Park

As everyone gathered around the computer screen, we realized one thing. Not only has the park come under control, it is also starting to become like the real Jurassic world from millions of years ago. After waiting for four hours, Mr. Muldoon finally realized that when the soldiers come, they would bomb the island and burn everything. Then Dr Grant, Dr Sattler, Mr. Muldoon and Mr. Gennaro went out to find the dinosaur nest.
Isla Nublar bombed by the soldiers

I really envy them. Why do they get to go find the dinosaur nest and leave us here? I also want to go and find the dinosaur nest! Tim said it’s too dangerous and we’ve got to stay in the Control Room. We pressed some buttons and heard the sound of different types of dinosaurs. That was so cool!

Soon, a troop of soldiers came towards us and told us to come with them quickly. Dr Harding, Dr Malcolm, Tim and I followed the soldiers and went into the helicopter. I was too sleepy to do anything in the helicopter. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I didn’t hear anything other people said. All I want right now is just to go to sleep… The island was then bombed by the soldiers. We arrived in Costa Rica and board on a plane back to New York. I think now Tim hates dinosaurs. These two days has turned out to be an unforgettable moment. Tragic and traumatic. But adventurous :]

And that, my friend, is the end of Jurassic Park. Hopefully, no one will have the same idea as my Grandpa to make such a theme park.

P.S.
Unfortunately, Grandpa was killed by some kind of dinosaurs called “compys” :[

Power Goes On

When we arrived at the Visitors’ Centre, all the windows and door locks were broken. A security guard was lying dead on the floor. Dr Grant took the dead security guard’s walkie-talkie to contact someone. After a few minutes, Dr Sattler answered. Dr Sattler and Dr Grant were talking about something that wasn’t clear, at least to my ears. Whatever they’re talking about, it must be really important for our lives.

As Dr Sattler and Dr Grant were talking, something walked in. I mean someone. Mr. Muldoon, the park warden. I think that’s what his name is. Mr. Muldoon took us to the Control Room while Dr Grant was on his way to the generator building.

When we arrived in the Control Room, it was pitch black. I could hardly even see my own hands. Then things began to change. Lights turned on and the computers were starting up. On one of the screen of the computer it said “JURASSIC PARK – SYSTEM START UP”. Okay, I have NO idea what to do about that. The computer here in the park are very different with the ones I have at home. Tim is the expert; he could at least try, right?

Computer at the Control Room
We turned on the walkie-talkie and contacted Mr. Muldoon. We were hoping that someone could help us to get the computer system started up. And we’re wrong. No one here in Jurassic Park knows how to handle the computer systems. Tim switched off the walkie-talkie and started touching the screen. I was bored so I walked around. That’s when I was looking out of the door and suddenly heard hissing noises. There, at the end of the corridor, were three raptors. I shouted for Tim and he finally came. When he saw those animals, we turned back to go into the Control Room, but the door was locked! We ran down the corridor and took the security card from the dead security guard. Oh come on! The raptors saw us and are now chasing us. Tim opens the nearest door with the security card. We ran as fast as we could. Then there were two figures in front of us. I screamed in terror.

For goodness’ sake! It’s just Dr Grant and Mr. Gennaro. The raptors stopped when they saw Dr Grant and Mr. Gennaro. Mr. Gennaro took us to the Control Room while Dr Grant tries to kill the raptors. I think. When we’re back in the Control Room, Tim touched some things on the screen and he finally took over the park. Next, Mr. Gennaro called the ship that was going into the dock at San Jose. Mr. Gennaro told the ship to turn back but the captain said he only takes orders from Mr. Arnold so Mr. Gennaro had to make a fake rule from the “Uniform Oceans Act”. LOL

Dr Grant came back and he told us that the raptors are dead now. Dr Grant said he lead the raptors to the Fertilization Room. He injected poison from the syringes into some eggs. Two raptors ate the eggs and died. The last one tried to attack him but he injected poison to it with the syringes. The door opened, Mr. Muldoon, Dr Sattler and Dr Harding went in. Even before the opening of the park, lots of people had already died.

You Again??

Rex!

Yes! Finally! We’re going closer to the Control Room. Then there was a loud sound. The raft started moving faster and faster every second. Oh gosh, it’s a waterfall! Dr Grant tried to stop the raft from moving forwards but all it did was going around in a circle. I can’t swim! What am I going to do? Suddenly, we stopped going around in a circle and we fell down the waterfall. The waterfall was about 20 m. And there at the bottom of the waterfall, was the annoying rex.

We all fell into the water. Well I didn’t exactly fell into the water. I grabbed the tail of the rex. I don’t want to die today. I hope Dr Grant and Tim could save me soon. Dr Grant swam towards me and pulled me to the edge of the lake.  I’M ALIVE! We have more things to worry about, like when is the rex going to realize food is under its feet!? We ran up a path that went next to the waterfall. We were in a small ledge. Dr Grant went through a door leaving us outside. I wonder what’s going on inside. Tim and I were trying to figure out how to open the door when the rex found us. It wrapped its tongue around Tim and started pulling him. I tried pulling my brother back but I wasn’t strong enough. Then suddenly the tongue let go of Tim. The dinosaur fell back and it disappeared.

Tim really stinks because of the dinosaur’s sticky spit. I hope the dinosaur died. It tried to eat Tim. Oh great now the power’s off again. Grandpa REALLY should hire smart people to fix his computer systems. Dr Grant started the electric car that he had found behind the door and he drove as fast as he could along the tunnel towards the Control Centre...

Dinosaur Date

Inflatable raft
When I woke up the next day, it was 4:30 a.m. and it was bright. I was just in time to watch the sunrise in Isla Nublar. Another day, more dinosaurs. Tim and I walked around the building and we found a baby dinosaur. Tim said it’s a baby triceratops. I took some hay and fed the baby dinosaur. It quickly finishes the hay. I guess the triceratops is very hungry. Just like me…

When Dr Grant finally woke up, it was 5 a.m. and there’s only 6 hours left before the ship reaches Costa Rica. The first thing Dr Grant heard was our laughter. Tim was just happy, but I’m STARVING. Then Dr Grant said he’s going into the park to find a sensor. He told us to wait for him here but I’m too scared about the “meat-asaurus” dinosaurs.  We went along with Dr Grant and started to walk. It was a lovely day, the sky was pink and there was a mist close to the ground. We stopped and watch some dinosaurs near the lake.

We found a sensor but it wouldn’t work. Bummer. We were hoping the next one would work when we heard something roar. Some kind of mean dinosaur was chasing the “veggie-saurus” out of the lake. We climbed the nearest tree just to be safe. We waited up there until the dinosaurs were gone. After an hour, Dr Grant finally said, “We must go.” I was so scared. What if the dinosaurs came back and eat us? I’ll never be able to get that Macbook Pro I’ve been begging from dad for months! Luckily, Tim finally gave an idea. “Why don’t we go on the river? It’s close to here,” he said. Tim you genius!

Tim and I, glad the dinosaur's gone!
We went back to the shed and found an inflatable raft, a gas cylinder, map of the island, a tranquilizer gun and some tranquilizer darts. Oh yeah we also find a sleeping dinosaur. With blood in its mouth. Eww. Oh gosh, I HAVE to cough. I couldn’t hold it anymore! My lungs felt heavy and I made some coughing noises behind my hand. Tim gave me the “please-shut-up-Lex” look. Sorry, Tim, but I just couldn’t hold it. I coughed. And yeah, the dinosaur woke up. Lucky for that guy, he just woke up and saw breakfast in front of his eyes. I only had leaves in front of my eyes when I woke up! Back to the story, Dr Grant took the inflatable raft and we ran to the lake. We hopped on and Dr Grant started rowing. Oh well, lucky us dinosaurs can’t swim right? No. They can. When the dinosaur got close enough to us, Dr Grant picked up the tranquilizer gun and shot it. The dinosaur looked back and saw another dinosaur taking its food. Then it ran after it. Thank God they’re finally gone.

As we went down the river, we saw two dinosaurs looking at each other. They were acting weirdly. The dinosaurs were hooting, drinking and looking at each other the whole time. Dr Grant told us to lie down in the bottom of the raft. Oh, I see. They’re having a date! How cute! I didn’t know dinosaurs date before they get married just like humans!

Sleeping with an Empty Stomach

Tyrannosaur
The air was cold and crisp. The park has turned into a dark nightmare. Then Tim and I realized that we're lost in the forest. "Dr Grant? Hello! Dr Grant!" I shouted. Tim was worried that the meat-asaurus would hear my shouts. But at last through we saw Dr Grant. Now I am very hungry. We've got to go back to the safari lodge so that I could eat and Dr Grant could warn Dr Wu, Dr Harding, and the rest of the crews about the raptors on the ship.

:O
Suddenly, we heard someone coughed. No one said a word. The noises came from the road above us. We all climbed up and saw Ed Regis standing very still right next to a tree. Then there was the sound of breathing. Dr Grant made Tim and I stay still. A dark shape of a young tyrannosaur moved out of the trees. It ran away past Ed Regis. When he thought it was safe enough, he went out into the open road, but the tyrannosaur suddenly attacked him. It looked like as if the tyrannosaur wanted to play a game with Ed Regis. But as we continued watching, it opened its mouth and bent down. Ed Regis started to scream and scream then the screaming suddenly stopped.  I held my breath. When the tyrannosaur went away, I saw a figure of a man in its jaws. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

Dr Grant made us run and run and run until I couldn’t run any longer. Then Dr Grant picked me up and soon I was asleep… When I woke up afterwards, I could see a building from where we were. Dr Grant helped us to go over the fences. We went into a shed which was filled with hay food for the animals. Dr Grant pushed together some hay on the floor. We laid down on the hay and went to sleep, hoping that this was only a nightmare…

Man vs Meat-asaurus

Tim with his night-vision goggles
Now Tim is going through the boxes in the land-cruiser. Now, I’m very hungry. I can’t hold it any longer. I HAVE to eat something. Even if I have to eat Tim… Mr. Regis said that there must be something wrong with the electricity. I can’t believe it. Don’t those people know that I’m hungry!? As I thought of that, Tim started to shake. I see he’s got a pair of night-vision goggles on. Then Dr Grant asked Tim what he can see through the goggles. Tim just replied: The rex is standing by the fence. Then he continued watching the dinosaur. The dinosaur looks like he’s hungry :S
In less than a minute, Mr. Regis started to shake. The opened the door and ran out. Rain started to pour into the land-cruiser through the open door. He left us… He left us! I was shocked. I can’t believe Mr. Regis left us! I thought he’s a kind and thoughtful person! Tim told me to shut the door, but I couldn’t move. Tim looked at the rex again, he was holding the fence. The fence wasn’t electrified! Yes! We are in danger! Dr Grant’s voice came in over the walkie-talkie. He asked what’s happening. Tim told him that Mr. Regis ran away because he probably saw that the electric fence isn’t working.

A meat-asaurus :S
THE MEAT-ASAURUS JUST ATTACKED US. YES IT SCARED US. That mean meat-asaurus lift our land-cruiser then kicked it. We swung into the air and I fell down on the road. I quickly hide in a big pipe under the road. I started to cry. Tears went down my face as I realize what’s happening right now in Jurassic Park. Tim shouted out my name a few times. Then I finally went out. Tim was hurt and so was I. Blood was all over our faces. What if the meat-asaurus came back and hurt us again? Where’s Dr Grant? What happened to them? There are so many questions right now, but I do hope that I’ll get answers soon :l

Power Goes Off

Stegosaur
Hey everyone it's Lex here. I just wanted to tell you of what's happening in Jurassic Park right now. While we're on the tour of the park, we met Dr Harding who is trying to help a stegosaur. Dr Harding says that the dinosaur is sick every 6 weeks, yet they can't find out why. Dr Sattler thinks it may be the cause of the poisonous berries located in the bushes near the stegosaur enclosure. But, no, Dr Harding said he observed carefully of what the stegosaur was doing and they never came close to the poisonous berries. Then we all looked around to find out what's happening to the poor dinosaur. That's when Dr Sattler and Dr Grant found pieces of shell from a dinosaur egg. Dr Grant said those pieces of shells are from a velociraptor egg. That's when everyone started to get worried. Well except Tim and me of course. Grandpa will take care of EVERYTHING. Dr Malcolm, the mathematician, asked the people in the control room to do a test of how many dinosaurs are there in Jurassic Park. They found out they gained extra 54 animals in the park, from 238 to 292. What’s so wrong about the animals breeding? The baby dinosaurs must be so cute! Why are they worried about?

Jurassic Park's land-cruiser
Now I’m so hungry :[ that’s why we’re heading back to the Safari Lodge. Except Dr Sattler, she’s going to stay there with Dr Harding to examine the stegosaur closely. Oh gosh it’s raining. I hope it won’t get cold tonight. Wait, why are we stopping? I saw something on the supply ship. I quickly called Dr Grant and I said, “Look! There in the back of the ship. I saw them!” At first, they didn’t believe that I saw dinosaurs on the supply ship. But as thunder roared and lightning came down, they finally saw it. Young raptors. Velociraptors.

Dr Grant and Dr Malcolm tried calling the control room many times but all they heard were crackling noises from the radio. Then they told Mr. Regis to get the land-cruisers moving again. Yeah, well, that’s when the lights over the road went out. Our land-cruisers slowed down and then stopped. Now we’re just surrounded by darkness and silence...

Jurassic Park Tour~

Hi everyone! I’m on a tour of Isla Nublar or known more as JURASSIC PARK! Jurassic Park is AMAZING. I met some people like..
  • Dr Alan Grant (a paleontologist)
  • Dr Ellie Sattler (a paleobotanist)
  • Donald Gennaro (a lawyer of InGen Incorporated)
  • Dennis Nedry (a computer expert)
  • Professor Ian Malcolm (a rock star mathematician)
  • Ed Regis (the publicity manager)
  • John Arnold (the chief engineer)
  • Robert Muldoon (the park warden)
  • Henry Wu (the chief geneticist)
  • Dr Harding (the vet)
Jurassic Park gate :D
Then it’s TOUR TIME! First, Dr Wu showed us the Control Room. The Control Room is where they take care of the park, the electricity, cameras, EVERYTHING! Next we went to the EXTRACTIONS room. (FACT: Did you know, that every single room in Jurassic Park’s Control Building HAS to be opened with a security card? :O) The Extractions Room is probably the weirdest for me because they have some microscopes and shelves full of yellow stones. Want to know what they do in there? They get dinosaur DNA. Sounds wacky, but true. They take some AMBERS, the yellow stones I told you, then take the insect that are stuck in the ambers. Some of the insects that are taken has dinosaur blood in it, that’s how they get the dinosaur DNA. Then there are some machines. They’re called the Cray XMP supercomputers. The computers help to complete the DNA chain, because the DNA from the insect blood isn’t always complete. The geneticists’ job is to find matching DNA for the missing dinosaur DNA from some animals that still EXIST. Then we went to the FERTILIZATION room. In the Fertilization Room, the dinosaurs are put in special shells of eggs and the correct room temperature. Then we go to a really HOT room called the HATCHERY. It’s where the eggs hatch. Then the cutest room of all, the NURSERY :] The nursery is where Tim found a new friend, a velociraptor. CUTE! Now we’re at the Control Room, this is where they keep track of all the animals. They also can detect all the animals’ movement! The computer can also count how many animals died. Right now, there are 238 animals in the park. Now we go around Jurassic Park. There are, oh, so many animals and I just can’t remember all of them right now. I’ll probably get Dr Alan Grant to write it down for me sometime tomorrow *laughs* BYEEE I’m going to continue the tour now :D
